A Cubbon Park walk where the park walks back
Self-guided walking tour · Cubbon Park & Vidhana Soudha · ≈ 3 km · ≈ 3 hours
Cubbon Park is the obvious Bengaluru walk. This is the un-obvious way to do it: Bangalore's first outdoor escape room puzzle, a self-guided trail where the park's own landmarks — statues, inscriptions, the buildings around its edges — hold the clues, and solving them unlocks a story about the city.
Walk it as a case — ₹1,499 per team
The route
Seven stops over about 3 km, starting at Minsk Square near the HAL Tejas jet (Cubbon Park Metro, Exit A), winding through the park's walking paths and past the Vidhana Soudha area. All public streets and public spaces — no special access, no group to join, no guide to keep up with. The full route map and start details are on the trail page.
What makes it different from just walking the park
A century-old park hides more than shade. On this walk you'll read inscriptions you've strolled past a hundred times, look up at statues you've never really looked at, and learn why they're there — because a puzzle made you. Each solved clue unlocks the next stop and the next chapter. Three tiers of hints mean nobody stays stuck; skipping a stop is allowed and the story goes on.
When to go
The park is vehicle-free 6–8 AM daily and effectively car-free on Sundays — weekend mornings are ideal. Late afternoons work too; finish before dark. There's a shorter variant starting at Vidhana Soudha if you're walking with small kids or short on time.
Good to know
₹1,499 per team of 1–5, all taxes in, one-time — not per person. You need a charged phone with data, a pen, and walking shoes. Nothing to install; it runs in the browser, and you can pause and resume any time. More in the FAQ.
